A safe space where you can relax and unpack.
Meet Amy Tuski, Women’s Therapist in Springfield and online across OR
No one ever told you it was going to be this hard.
Why isn’t there an instruction manual for being a mom? A teacher? A woman? You're out there giving it your all, but that voice in your head keeps whispering that you're falling short and just not measuring up. You might be wondering why you chose this career path in the first place or why something you once loved is making life feel unbearable. The demands and pressures are overwhelming.
The idea of prioritizing yourself feels like an impossible luxury. Seriously, who has the time? You're doing your best to hold it all together, but deep down, you're just feeling so f***ing tired and alone.
My approach
It’s not wrong to feel the way you’re feeling.
Here, you don’t have to pretend you’re somebody else or put on a face for me. It’s safe to be vulnerable and even fall apart, because I’ll be there to catch you. My role isn’t to judge the kind of mother, teacher, or person you are. Instead, I’m here because I’m somebody who “gets it” and works hard to keep “getting it” because I believe in your ability to find healing and happiness.
I have a genuine desire and curiosity to understand your story and who you are. I’ve always been creative in my approach and I use that to tailor the therapy experience to you. In this space, there’s room for tears and tissues, but there are also opportunities for you to express yourself creatively, release your anger, and even laugh. My approach draws on different methods based on what you need, including CBT, creative expression, EMDR, and others.
At the core of what I do is a belief that things really can get better. I know right now that might feel impossible, but time and time again, those I work with see the chaos turn to calm as they open themselves up to healing, creativity, and deeper understanding.
Creativity heals souls and brightens minds.
I’m very passionate about the power of creative expression in therapy. When we express ourselves creatively—through art, writing, music, or more—we tap into something deep within that nurtures us. Making time for creativity can help you explore different parts of yourself and learn how to embrace them.
I realize that art can sometimes be intimidating, but here, we’re not artists—we’re letting go of perfectionism and remembering who we were as kids. It’s an opportunity to have fun, make a mess, and try something new. Through creative expression, we heal old wounds, grow stronger, and begin the journey of self-discovery.
